Casa Verde Colectivo (MX)

Casa Verde is much more than just a band, it is a brotherhood. They define their genre as "Urban Latin Beat", a fusion that combines Hip-Hop, Cumbia, Reggae, Salsa, Samba, Rock and Son Jarocho spoiled with elements of electronic music. They started the year 2015 with a large Central-America-Tour, which brought them to two fantastic events: Cosmic Convergence (Atitlan, Guatemela) and Envision Festival (Uvita, Costa Rica). As inexhaustible nomads, which they are indeed, Casa Verde Colectivo spent 4 months touring around Europe. During the summer months of 2015, they played in Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, England and Switzerland, presenting their new album "Canciones de Libertad" (translated "Songs of Freedom") on stages of festivals like the Caprices Festival (Crans Montana, Switzerland), the Fusion Festival (Berlin, Germany) and the Festival des Horizons (Saint-Avertin, France). Their journey ended with a special highlight, a concert on the "El Mundo" stage of the 49th Montreux Jazz Festival (Montreux, Switherland). The iberoamerican music portal "Txart" voted them to be number 13 of national rock in march this year. That way they earned a spot among the most popular musicians of the 2010 decade, such as Carlos Santana, Café Tacvba, Zoe and Rodrigo y Gabriela.
