Pine Box Boys (US)

The Pine Box Boys formed in San Francisco in 2003 to perform modern renditions of classic murder ballads such as “The Knoxville Girl” and “Fair Eleanor.” Shortly after Lester Raww, “Possum Carvidi, Col. Timothy Leather and Steven “Your Uncle” Dodds started the Pine Box Boys. Raww transitioned the music to all original songs paying the same grim homage to themes of murder, misery, zombies and generally unapologetic acts of mayhem.

After 125 songs penned in Raww’s blood and four albums later, the original members tour across the United States and Europe bringing their cantankerous horrorbilly sound and malcontent melodies to worldwide fans eager for some dancing, drinking and stabbing. Albums include “Arkansas Killing Time,” “STAB!,” “Child of Calamity” and “Tales From the Emancipated Head.
