SUWI has an appealing sensitive energy and interesting dynamic flow. This trio pioneers simplicity with its lighthearted melodies sprawled across nonchalant grooves and triggers your visual imagination. Think of Connan Mockasin’s chillness and Jimi Hendrix’s fire in a haze of blue and pink.

The three of them are very present in the Belgian music scene. They play in bands such as Nordmann, Robbing Millions and Kosmo Sound. Although their friendship was there all along, SUWI and the new light on making music was born only four years ago, after a magical impro session in their hometown Ghent. Ever since, they have been able to win the crowd on festivals, club shows but also the most intimate settings in Belgium and Portugal. They have released two albums called SUMI (2020) and French with Simona (2021). Their third album Playing for Oscar is due in April 2024 on W.E.R.F. Records.
