Vojasa (HU)

The members of the group started playing together last year as friends.
The primary aim was to enjoy the music and transmit this feeling to the public, indeed they chose the name Vojasa, which in gipsy language means Cheerful and it’s successful!
They have already been acclaimed in prestigious festivals such as Festival des Vieilles Charrues in France and Sziget Festival in Hungary this summer!
Their music is based on traditional vlach gipsy music, and interpreted with actual arrangements.
The urban interpretation of traditions and compositions are sprinkled by Romanian and Serbian gipsy influences without losing its very peculiar Hungarian soul. Based on vocals and rhythms Vojasa’s music is definitely sincere and authentic!
Musicians of the group have played in well known bands for several years such as Romano Drom and Kalyi Jag. 3 powerful voices, 2 guitars, violin, mandolin, bass guitar, percussions and the traditional aluminum water can are the instruments of this new group!
Open your ears, bring good shoes for you will dance for sure on this exciting music!
