Misstriohso is a drumless project, in which three soulmates experiment with own compositions. It’s contemporary jazz, but with great respect for groove, melody and structure.
Marie- Anne Standaert is a very melodious trumpet player who creates also a splendid sound on the flugelhorn. Bram Weijters is known as a very tasteful modern piano player. Janos Bruneel is a bass player who can play very functionally and groovy, yet also is an excellent and virtuous soloist.
Together they form Misstriohso : a new sound, rooted in jazz history.
